Tré Cool says Green Day would play Glastonbury if asked
Asked about headlining Glastonbury, Tré Cool said Green Day would do it if asked and described Glastonbury as the last great festival the band have not played. When asked whether they had previously come close, he explained that booking approaches are not normally information he sees as the drummer. The interview therefore confirms genuine willingness to play, but does not establish whether Green Day have or have not been approached for 2027.
